10:10 pm	Bella trespassed I took my puppy and my parents to have a look at the outside of my new house. No one is living there so we had a wander around the little backyard and I let Bella off the leash and she went mental. She ran so fast around the little garden that I thought she was going to take off. She will be a very happy puppy indeed. 4:51 pm	Cab Noc I went out on Friday night, yes you heard it ;p Rael and I went around to Clint and Buttons for a pre Cab Noc catch up with the lovely Holly, Anne-Louise, Jon and Ash (in spirit or something ;p). It was a great little gathering, sitting around chatting and listening to Bowie on Vinyl. We all then headed off to Cab's which was at the old Paladin (yay). Admittedly I pulled up out the front and contemplated going home but managed to make my way in which I am glad I did. I got to catch up with some old and new friends and have a little boogie to The Cult, ah Patricia would be pleased. The funniest thing about the night was when this guy came up to me and asked if i was Samantha, he then went on to tell me that he recognised me from 1991 when I used to go to Chasers Hard n Fast and that I hadnt aged a bit (oh you ;p). He also showed me how I used to dance which was very enthusiastic and told me that one of his "friends" had a crush on me. Hmmm, given he remembered everything about me from 18 years ago I somehow doubt the "friend" line ;p. Blasts from the past. It was a good night indeed :) (7 Comments |Comment on this)

I cant go into details but my family is going through a lot at the moment and I am angry and sad and all over the place. 9:57 am	Last Agency one for the week I promise ;p At the end of September I got contacted by UK Magazine Metal Hammer, which is the UK's biggest metal magazine distributed world wide. They needed some hot metal chicks for a shoot they were doing in Australia with Australian metal band Airborne. The timing was very tight. They were flying their photographer over and would confirm the shoot the morning of the shoot with some sketchy details throughout the week. The models on my books who fit the brief were already going to Sydney so I sent them a list of 10 beautiful and professional models I had either worked with in the past or had seen their work. They picked four stunning girls and for your viewing pleasure here is The Cover of international magazine Metal Hammer. Congratulations to the four Melbourne Models who are now on the cover. 6:16 pm	Modelling Agency Stuff I can talk about one of the big jobs we have recently been involved in (the second one is released on 19/11 and I shall put up details then) The Nando's campaign. The ad agency contacted me to supply models and after sending them photos of not only my own models but others who fit the brief they ended up choosing the two independents and one of my models. You will see posters and billboards around Australia. Congrats to the three models who are being seen Australia wide. Last week we also appeared in the Melbourne Leader with an article and a photo of one of my models. A couple of weeks ago we supplied 10 models for the OK Carnivale fashion show at Madame Brussels. We have lots of things in the pipeline and as they come to hand I will post them. I may start up an Agency lj if we get super busy :D Current Mood: chipper (21 Comments |Comment on this)

12:05 pm	Sooooo sleepy I am exhausted after another whirlwind weekend in Sydney. Went up and modelled for Matt Bylett for the Rubberball. I have no idea if the ball was good or not as I was backstage the entire night and our show wasnt on until 2am which is waaaaaaaay past my bedtime ;p. I dont think I will do the Sydney thing anymore. I always feel there is a lot of effort and money from my part without much reward. Dont get me wrong, I adore Matt and his designs are awesome but Sydney just doesnt do it for me. 10:12 pm	A weee bit busy This week is going to be a busy one. We are moving studios. We are moving to a space that is 3 and a bit times the size of the current studio in Kilsyth. Tuesday I am going to Yearing Station to help Peter with an exhibition. I am off to Sydney on Thursday with my love and my other love Fran. Fran and I are modelling at the Lunamorph fashion parade and three of my models are being flown up to model for Raven. While up there I also have to work with a few of the models and designers and meet with some new models and put together some workshops so it is going to be quite hectic. It is Raels birthday on Sunday so hopefully in amongst all the running around we get to celebrate his birthday. Friday I have a shoot here in Melbourne that I have to coordinate. I got the call on yesterday for a shoot to happen on Friday - nice to get plenty of notice ;p. Should be a good shoot for those involved too. Sometime during the week I have to get my hair fixed, pack some more of the studio, do some selling for my dad and pack. I hope everyone is looking after themselves. 9:31 am	thank you everyone for all the awesome suggestions and best wishes for Dad and Luke. I am really pushing for dad to take it further but at the moment he is very resistant. He wants to forget about it. I told him about going to the media and he said no. Mum had also suggest going to Colling FC and again he said no as a time before his car was broken into in the members carpark and they didnt do anything. He is feeling like no one cares so there is no point in doing anything. I am upset the cops didnt do anything but I guess if I was a cop in this current climate I wouldnt want to put myself in danger either. The same goes with those at the station, I think everyone still has it fresh in their mind that last time someone tried to help someone they got shot and killed for their kindness. It is sad that we have to fear such things. Dad and Luke would have a case to take it further especially with the ctv footage and with the trauma they are going through now but I am not sure if I can get them to do anything. I am going to push the media side again as the Security Guard said this happens every week. They pick what they see as a soft target and they beat them just for the fun of it. The security guard said it wouldnt have mattered if my brother totally ignored them, they would have still jumped them. If I can push the "you will be saving others" path then perhaps he will take it further. It is hard to say if they are ok. Dad has some lumps on the back of his neck and is very angry. Last time something traumatic happened to him he went into a deep depression - his health is bad anyway and I feel he is going to let it all get ontop of him again. I will keep pushing and let you know how it goes. In the meantime, try and keep yourselves as safe as possible. If you can, avoid travelling during football times and find a security guard and hang around them until your train arrives. (8 Comments |Comment on this)

3:00 pm	Violence in Melbourne - going down? my arse On Friday night my dad and my brother made their way to Southern Cross Station to go and watch football at the Telstra Dome (or whatever it is called now). They were dressed in their suits as they were going to a function there and to also watch their beloved team Collingwood play (I know I know). After the match they were pretty happy as their team won. They go back to Southern Cross station and my brother gets a taunt from a Collingwood supporter (casually dressed in Collingwood jumper and scarf). My brother, who is very gentle, 6 foot tall, blonde, small to medium build, has a fractured disc, says something like "okay mate". Next thing he knows he is being punched and kicked by 6 guys. My dad screams out that they are Collingwood supporters too but it doesnt stop them so my dad jumps in. My dad is very grey both in skin and hair, he is 5'10", chubby build has carpel tunnel syndrome in both hands, suffer thrombosis, is on warfarin and has diverticulitis. He gets kicked in the stomach, the back and the back of the head. My brother gets a gas in his head and legs. The station was packed and no one helped - which I cant really blame them for as who knows if they would have attacked them too or had weapons etc. The only thing that stopped them is my dad started going crazy. Yelling and screaming and panting and just plain off his dial (not much of a stretch really - I jest). Finally a security guard came after it was all done. Dad called the cops and wait an hour and a half and they didnt show. He ended up giving a statement over the phone and the cops said they had an idea of where they guys were and dad said they would stay around and id them but nothing happened. My brother broke down and couldnt get back on the train to come home but dad made him. Now the two of them dont ever want to go to the football or the city again and my brother doesnt want to leave the house. Current Mood: angry (17 Comments |Comment on this)
